Global Connect 2008

Global Connect 2008 was a huge success! Over 2,000 attendees attended almost 100 educational sessions, networked during evening events, heard from Mike Zafirovski, Nortel President and CEO; Joel Hackney, President, Enterprise Solutions; Steven J. Bandrowczak, Nortel CIO; Tom Hughes, CIO of the Social Security Administration and Roger Staubach, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback.

Proceedings

Congratulations to INNUA's Global Connect 2008 Innovation Award winner: ION Networks/Cryptek, Inc. for its SA500 Service Access Point.

ION Networks, which has enabled support for Nortel products for over 20 years, introduced the SA500 Service Access Point^™: the first plug-and-play, remote management appliance purpose-built to support the fast-growing BCM market. Snap it in to enable a LAN-like, SSL VPN connection from BCM to NOC tools.

For the second year in a row, INNUA offered the attendee-driven Innovation Award Program to promote new and innovative voice and data technology on exhibit at Global Connect. INNUA thanks all the attendees who voted for vendors with innovative products or services.
